The Coal Miners' Memorial Committe sponsors several
"Kid's Days"
for area children. Events range from games, rides, clowns, magic shows, fire truck rides etc. Also free food is provided for all the children. Coal Miners' Memorial President Mike Short makes it a priority to do something with the children of our area each year. These events are held for the children but honor the coal miners of our area.
